Independent advice on your IoT operator – backed by measured data

We are not an operator. We compare every major IoT provider on the same criteria, and your sites' data picks the winner.

Small team or national fleet, the question is the same: which operator will your devices really reach, and at what price? Start free on the IoT Connectivity Marketplace. Need more? We get live quotes and compare vendors, or measure coverage where your devices will live.

Vendor-neutral · Every major provider, same criteria · Buyer report and field probe campaigns · Pricing on request · Reply within one week

Illustrative operator ranking from the same probe: primary and backup chosen from measured scores, not from a coverage map.

Why independent

Not an operator or reseller

Not an operator or reseller. We are a vendor-neutral marketplace, not tied to any one network.

Same criteria for everyone

Every major provider compared side by side; the same probe and modem test every operator.

Your data decides

Recommendations follow your sites' measured data. We publish the scoring method and fix weights before we measure.

Rankings are not for sale

Rankings are not for sale. Operators never pay to rank higher.

Who it is for

Small teams and start-ups

You need a sound operator choice without a procurement department. Start free, add a buyer report or a small-team probe campaign when the stakes rise.

Device makers and OEMs

Choosing operators for a new product or a new market.

Utilities and metering

Preparing a tender or a rollout, with evidence for the sites that matter.

Logistics and tracking

Devices that move along lanes and across borders.

Enterprise procurement

Evidence and comparable quotes, not coverage maps, before you sign.

The problem

A coverage map is a reason to run a pilot, not a reason to sign a contract.

Coloured countries do not show whether a meter in a basement attaches, whether the network grants PSM and eDRX, or whether a tracker keeps its connection across a border. Operators describe their own networks, and price sheets are hard to compare. Buyers often find the gaps after deployment, when every fix is multiplied across a fleet.

Free: the IoT Connectivity Marketplace

Compare every major IoT provider described on the same criteria: coverage claims, technologies, commercial model and SLA information as published or declared. Open a free RFQ to hear from providers directly. No commitment, no fee.

Compare providers free

Paid tier 1: Buyer report

For teams that want a decision, not a list. We work for you, not for a network.

  • Hands-on comparison of the providers that fit your devices, markets and volumes
  • Live quotes we request from vendors on your behalf, normalised so they can be compared
  • An independent recommendation, with the reasoning shown
  • Every finding labelled as quoted, declared by the provider, or our assessment

Pricing on request.

Request a buyer report

Paid tier 2: Field probe campaign

For rollouts where coverage risk matters. Same probe, same modem, every operator: only the network differs. Your measured data sets the ranking, not operator claims.

  • Coverage measured per site or per route (street-level or fixed probes; device positions where site access allows; route probes for moving assets)
  • Operator ranking per location and technology (NB-IoT and LTE-M as standard, others on request)
  • Recommended primary and backup operator per location
  • Final report; underlying measurements can be shared as an export on request (scope agreed per project)

What we check

Same probe, same modem, every operator: only the network differs.

Two sizes

Small-team campaign

For example 1 site, 2 operators, 2 weeks of measurement. A focused answer for a pilot or a first deployment.

Full campaign

Your target sites or routes, typically 3–4 operators per area, a measurement window of up to 4 weeks, day and night. Extra cities or regions can be added.

Pricing on request. Scope is confirmed after the kick-off call and site survey.

Request a probe campaign

How every finding is labelled

MeasuredExtrapolatedDeclared

You always see which numbers came off a probe, which were inferred, and which were stated by the provider.

How it works

Kick-off call (30 min)

Your sites or routes, technologies, volumes and candidate operators.

Scope and quote

We propose the right tier and confirm scope and price on request.

Work

Buyer report – vendor comparison and quotes; probe campaign – site survey, probe install, measurement window.

Report and recommendation

Walk-through call with your team.

Why SymbIoT

Vendor-neutral

We publish the scoring method, fix weights before we measure, and never sell rankings.

Commercial data beside the measurements

Every major provider described on the same criteria in the IoT Connectivity Marketplace.

SGP.32 Plugfest 2026

We ran a multi-vendor interoperability event with module, eUICC and eIM vendors, so we know where connectivity breaks in practice.

Special offer

Your audit fee can be credited toward an SGP.32 pilot, terms agreed per project.

From report to action

With SGP.32 and the SymbIoT eIM, devices can be set up to switch to the recommended operator remotely, subject to device, eUICC and operator support.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the marketplace really free?

Yes. Comparing providers and opening an RFQ costs nothing.

What's the difference between a buyer report and a probe campaign?

A buyer report compares vendors and live quotes and gives a recommendation, without field measurements. A probe campaign measures coverage at your sites or routes.

We are a small team. Is a probe campaign overkill?

Not necessarily. The small-team version (for example 1 site, 2 operators, 2 weeks) gives measured evidence at a modest scope.

How much does it cost?

Pricing is on request and depends on scope. Tell us your sites, operators and timeline.

How fast do you reply?

Within one week.

Which operators can you test?

Any operator for which test SIMs can be obtained; typically 3–4 per area.

Is this a live network monitor?

No. It is a measured baseline per site or route for the campaign period.

Do operators pay to rank higher?

Never. Rankings are not for sale.
